Hotel Case Study

The brand new CityBlue Epic 4 star hotel is designed to meet the accommodation needs of a wide range of clientele.

It offers suites accommodation, conference and event rooms, restaurant, bar/lounge, fitness center with gym, a tennis and basketball court, as well as a spa and pool area.

A comprehensive study was performed before the thermosiphon systems solution was commissioned.
The solution includes 18 Open loop thermosiphon systems of 300 liters and 2 X E selective paint collectors per system. This equates to a grand total of 5400 liters with 85 m² collectors surface placed on the roofs of several buildings. The systems were installed at a 10 degrees angle.

As a result of the solar systems installation, the expected electricity saving in this new hotel will be about 50%.
