Factory Case Study

SR Lantejuela is a large factory which manufactures cement. During the production process, it uses large volumes of hot water which is heated to 30c in 3 * 5,000 liter boilers with a total volume of 15,000 liters.  

244 m² of 88 flat plate collectors field was designed for installation on the inclined roof of the factory’s building. It was divided into two rows and groups of 4 collectors each.  

The solar field is responsible for the net annual saving of an estimated 50%.
