Kraft Foods is the third-largest food and beverage company in North America, and the fifth-largest food and beverage company in the world. It manages many different types of food factories across the globe.

A renewable energy plant was implemented – based on a solar thermal field of 35 F collectors, with about 90 m2 and one 5,000 liter commercial tank. The field was located on the flat roof and the estimated annual net saving is about 35%.
